We make it easy to prevent packaging waste with a closed loop, circular system.
Simply order refills when your products are running low, & send back empties free-post via carbon neutral delivery!
What are refills?
Refills are replacement products which you order when your original product is running low, either in the same packaging minus the pump, or as a compostable refill sachet. All Azur bottles and jars are either glass or aluminium. Pumps and lids are the only part of our packaging with some plastic as well as metal parts, and they are designed to be kept and re-used.
Instead of ordering a new product in the same packaging, e.g. pump hand soap, you can order a refill bottle with aluminium cap when you’re low. Refills vary depending on the product type:
- Liquids with pump bottles like washes and moisturisers all have refill versions with aluminium lids. Just order refills, keep your pump and send back the empty jars and bottles with metal caps when you’re ready
- Dry products like powders or bath salts have compostable paper pouch refills. Keep your original glass apothecary jar forever and refill it with product from the pouches, then compost the empty pouch
- Moisturiser jars are just a straight swap – return your empties free and we’ll sanitise and reuse
Save empties ’til you have four or more, then email us for a postage label. If you have a printer, print the label on A4 paper, stick it on the box of empties and leave outside your door to be picked up! If you don’t have a printer we can send you a label in the post, then you can put the labelled box in a post box. How empties returns work.
Why keep the pumps?
The pumps and some jar lids are the only element of our packaging with some plastic components. We want to keep as little plastic in circulation as possible to keep it out of our oceans. By keeping the pumps and returning empties it’s a closed loop, zero waste system.
